I’m a freelance travel and lifestyle writer. I have a combined appreciation for travelling off the beaten path and the finer things in life, I like to call it the best of both worlds. 

Born and raised in Perth, I’m a Western Australian local whose first love was words, and whose second was travel. It's nearly impossible to grow up on the sun-drenched shores of the West Coast and not be captivated by the natural scenery you find at almost every turn. This has been something that’s always inspired my writing and ultimately sparked a love for capturing the essence of home, and other places, through words on a page. 

I graduated from university with a bachelor's degree in Communications, specialising in Journalism and Web Media. The journalism side of my degree allows me to write in a manner that is professional, accurately informed, and educational. The web media side means I know how to craft high-quality written content for online channels that is engaging, stands out to readers, and is SEO friendly. 

I never had a set plan of what I was going to do after university. However, throughout my time there one thing became clear. I wanted to write, travel, and use words to evoke emotion and highlight the beauty of the world, as well as the people and places that it encompasses.
